I have been talking about Cupcakes, so today, I thought I would focus on chocolates, yay!. I would like to introduce our ‘Special’ Chocolate Stiletto Shoe.
Some people think it is too pretty to eat. Some just can’t believe it is edible. And obviously there are those that jut want to devour.
Whatever category you fall into, this is a shoe worth giving or receiving. They are available in almost any colour and it is all edible.
My friend just had a baby girl and she is just sooooo cute. The naming ceremony was scheduled for the week after delivery as is customary in Nigeria so cupcakes were obviously in order.
They were a huge hit! I actually got 2 orders on the day. One was for a baby boy. I will put up the pictures soon.
These are the cupcakes I made. Flavours were Vanilla with Vanilla Frosting, Chocolate with Vanilla Frosting and Lemon with Lemon Frosting.
A lovely client ordered 6 boxes for a one year old party. Upon delivery, I discovered that she was actually my sister's colleague. This is such a small world. You never know where or when you would meet someone you somehow already know….
Well the flavours were: Rainbow with Vanilla Frosting, Coconut with Coconut Frosting, Red Velvet with Vanilla Frosting, Orange with Orange Cointreau Frosting (alcoholic) and Chocolate with Irish Cream Frosting (alcoholic).
For whatever reason, I don’t have a picture of the Red Velvet. I guess I forgot to take a picture. Sorry, would post one the next time I make it.
Some are hard and crunchy. Some are soft and chewy. Regardless of which you prefer, cookies are an ultimate treat.
Our signature star cookies will keep you wanting more…… And why not, after all, it is “a necessary indulgence”.
We also offer cut out cookies. These are usually requested for favours. Having a baby shower? Bridal shower? Wedding? Naming ceremony? Corporate Event? Dinner Party? Whatever it is, these cookies would add the Va Va Voom!
Am sure we have at one point or the other heard the phrase “Variety is the Spice of Life”? This cannot be more true than for cupcakes. Why have an event with a big vanilla cake when you can have dozens of cupcakes in exotic flavours. Your guest will be blown away by the variety.
Choose from the classic flavours like almond, vanilla, chocolate, lemon, coconut …..( we have a long list of flavours) or from our alcoholic range.
I leave you today with pictures of some cupcakes I made for a lovely client,. She was my very first client. The theme was 'Yellow'. The flavours were Vanilla with Vanilla Frosting, Lemon with Lemon Frosting, Chocolate with Vanilla Frosting and Coconut with Coconut Frosting.
OK, let’s talk "Cupcakes". Are they not one of the cutest things you have ever seen? They are so individual. Having a cupcake is like have your own person cake specially crafted for you!

So today, I made cookies. They are not yet ready so I would probably post pictures of them sometime later but I thought I should share with you some more pictures of my chocolates.
I made some for Valentines Day (2009) and the response to them was great. They were beautifully presented in a heart shaped box. I have attached a picture below. The other pictures are from a photo shoot. Thanks a lot to the photographers and his assistant. You know yourselves ;o)
I love chocolates and my favourite is dark chocolate. There is just something so rich and deep about the way it tastes. However, most Nigerians like the sweet stuff and I find that I don’t make dark chocolate as often as I would like to. I guess it has something to do with our taste buds.
I thought I would start by posting pictures of chocolates I have done recently. I have supplied chocolates for a few weddings and dinner parties.
My name is Moji and I live in Lagos, Nigeria. My first love is Jesus, then my husband and then the list goes on and on. I have a passion for chocolates, cakes and all things baked. My love for confectionery especially QUALITY chocolate led me to start my own business – Chocolatier’s Wonders.
